Engineering’s sustainability research profile

The Faculty just finalized a new leaflet about the faculty’s sustainability research profile, which is a part of the faculty strategy. They wish to thank all who contributed along the way, and they encourage all to use the leaflet in relevant situations. The ambition is clear: We aim to contribute to sustainable solutions to the major societal challenges!

The faculty will use the leaflet in interaction with stakeholders. This may be in meetings, it may be sending a link to the leaflet along with an invitation to zoom coffee or physical coffee meetings, or it may be in other contexts where they connect with a stakeholder.

The faculty will also make sure that all relevant units at AAU get a stack of leaflets and a poster sent. Until then, they encourage you to share the electronic link with colleagues and partners.

Go to the electronic version of the leaflet

It describes nine sustainable focus areas defined based on the faculty’s academic strongholds as well as local, national and international trends within the sustainability agenda – e.g. the Danish Climate Act, the government’s green research strategy, the EU Horizon Europe Programme, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

For each focus area, the leaflet describes one research case, and frequent references are made to cases on the sustainability universe on the ENGINEERING website. They will continuously update this site with new cases.
