At the annual staff meeting on January 14, Rector Per Michael Johansen presented the staff with a new reputation analysis of AAU, based on a large number of qualitative interviews with politicians, officials, organizations and opinion makers conducted by an external agency.
The analysis shows that, overall, stakeholders assess AAU positively on several key parameters, but that in some areas there is also room for improvement.
This includes reducing graduate unemployment, making the university’s research in humanities and social sciences visible, and ensuring the further development of the university's problem-based learning model – PBL. A model that a number of other universities have gradually adopted to a greater or lesser extent.
