APPLY FOR FUNDING FOR YOUR RESEARCH
Kirsten Siksne is the Department’s local fundraiser. She is always your single point of contact, when you initiate a fundraising process. Reach out as soon as you have an idea or a pre-proposal. All research applications have to be approved by the Head of Department.
The process
What to do, when to do it, and what to expect from others.
1) Economic principles
- Stay up to date with the rules on Economic principles in research applications at the department.
Please note that some applications needs pre-approval, and that you must also apply for any co-finance from the faculty no later than 30 days before call deadline.
2) Fundraising support
- Fill in this simple pre-proposal form - no later than 4 weeks before call deadline. Preferably before.
The pre-proposal will be emailed directly to the fundraiser. You will receive a notification, when the pre-proposal form has been registered in Workzone. The fundraiser will notify the project administrator affiliated with your research group, and you will agree on how the fundraiser can help you.
3) Budget
- You will be contacted by your project administrator in order to make a draft budget.
The project administrator will make sure to get the budget approved, and you will receive a notification, when it has been approved.
4) approval from head of department
- When your proposal is ready, send your final application and other relevant documents to the fundraiser - no later than 2 weeks before call deadline in order to get your application approved by the Head of Department.
You will get a direct notification, when the Head of Department has approved/not approved your application. The project administrator will make sure to get the signatures, that are needed.
5) Upload application to foundation
- When you have uploaded your approved application to the foundation, you must also send a copy of all relevant documents to the fundraiser.
Notify the fundraiser, when you get a response on your research application, granted og not. You will receive a notification, when the case has been closed in Workzone.
And then, finally, it is time to do what you do best – research!
